Dear whitson⁺ Users,

We will be releasing a new version of the External API over the weekend (23rd of May 2026).

Most updates in this release are backward compatible. However, several breaking changes have been introduced, mainly related to:

1. DCA response and payload restructuring (forecast / forecasts removal and cumulative metrics additions)
2. New custom_attributes support across fields, projects, and wells endpoints
3. BHP input enhancements, including new perforation and foamer-related properties
4. Expanded ESP configuration enum values (Summit and REDA series support)
5. Sampling endpoints updates where zi values are now nullable
6. Gas Lift Optimizer request and response structure updates
7. Gradient case enhancements with perforated interval inflow support
8. Bulk IPR/VLP configuration updates and new required case_name field
